Beth Haile

Beth Haile (PhD, Boston College) is beginning her new position as an assistant professor of moral theology at Carroll College in Helena, MT Fall 2011.  She recently defended her dissertation entitled “A Good Appetite: A Thomistic Approach to Eating Disorders and Body Image Problems in American Women.”  She is interested generally in Thomas Aquinas, virtue, theology and science, and natural law.  Additionally, she is married to Scott Haile, a PhD candidate in Bible at Boston College who is also a minister in the Church of Christ.  Together, they work on living ecumenically by worshiping and studying theology together.  Beth is also a passionate Maverick’s fan, and finds that preparing for a Mavs title is an excellent eschatalogical exercise.
